when did midnight blink open?
black balloon black balloon
light from that room
mixed up my words in your mouth
pale pink hand there
blinked away like a glitch
one a.m. is too long
bring me a kitten
one a.m. is too long too long
bring me something soft and stupid
two a.m.
somehow blinked open
like this, all around the living room,
clap clap
clap
clap
[...]crunchy candylike sentences out her mouth
ridiculous emerald breezes,
half-hellos like foglets
accidentally slow enough to touch
blip pop moments, stillnesses
by the blue-light shadow, poolside boys
bump into girls and everything slips
into the living room
with cowboy hats and
cam zooms, stickers
and fingers
ales and scatter sounds
and bottle-glass glances
lady ray gun goes zap
all up in it, grinning
i saw her smile and everything was
something
went over there
jeez
i could write a poem about
globalization and stuff
all the flowers in mexico
i could wear a chef's hat
i could i could
i can see shoes pop pop
all over the yard
twinkle shoes and
grass brum brum
what a wet night two a.m. is
and 3a.m. is
stepping stones, stopping
stepping on stones
stripe scarves
hoola hoop
little plastic piano filled with vodka,
bright juices
gone home with oak leaves
pink leaves
in my pockets and loose change
where is that woman
where is my kitten?
5 a.m. blinked shut somewhere
everything ends up under my eyelids

I love how densely packed this is with different images.
